The Bayer Thrombosis Research Award

The Bayer Thrombosis Research Award has been established in 2011 by support of the Bayer scientists Dr. Frank Misselwitz, Dr. Dagmar Kubitza and Dr. Elizabeth Perzborn who won the “Deutscher Zukunftspreis 2009” for the development of the new anticoagulant Xarelto®. They donated their prize money of €250,000 in order to build the foundation for this new award. Bayer matched the donation by an equal company installment.
