Bayer Lindau Fellowship
The “Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting” is an internationally acknowledged platform for top scientists and a springboard for global knowledge networks. Since 2010, the Bayer Science & Education Foundation has enabled young scientists from around the world to take part in the meetings as “Bayer Lindau Fellows”.

The 2010 Bayer Lindau Fellows talking to Bayer researchers
The Bayer foundation provides a select number of young scientists who have undergone a multi-stage selection process with travel grants totaling EUR 50,000 per year. The National Academies of Science of their home countries propose candidates for participation in the meeting. The final selection is then made by a high-profile panel of judges from the Foundation Lindau Nobelprizewinners Meetings.

As well as exchanging thoughts and ideas with the Nobel Prize winners, the “Bayer Lindau Fellows” also have the opportunity to talk to Bayer researchers. They can discuss the latest scientific issues and present their own projects at a Poster Day. They can then intensify their contacts through the alumni network (in German).
