School Support Program
Inventiveness in the classroom
To improve educational opportunities in the communities surrounding Bayer’s German sites, the Bayer Science & Education Foundation awards project-related funding totaling up to EUR 500,000 each year for attractive scientific instruction in schools. After all, the education of young people is one of the main tasks involved in safeguarding our society's ability to meet future needs.
With its school support program, the foundation specifically assists schools near Bayer’s German sites in their efforts to make instruction in science and technology more attractive through innovative projects.

To qualify for support, projects should supplement regular courses and promote enjoyment of and interest in natural sciences and technology among schoolchildren. Additionally, the supportive measures aim to support talents at an early stage and make the choice of employment easier.
Schools can apply with their projects until January 17, 2014. Please find the online application form (in German) here.
