With project funding of up to EUR 5,000, the foundation promotes voluntary efforts by people who assume responsibility for others in a unique way, contributing their personal experience and expertise. The foundation pays out up to EUR 150,000 in funds each year through this program. Particularly deserving of support are exemplary, socially innovative projects with a lasting effect.

There are no content-related limitations on the criteria for funding: some volunteers organize homework supervision in schools; others advise families who are faced with over-indebtedness; and still others convey the fascination of science to children through experiments. For funding to be granted, however, it is important that a project is of a charitable nature, independent of other projects and of a fixed duration, and that the applicant is personally involved in it. In addition, a specific project and cost plan must be presented.

Do you have a concrete idea for a social project for which you want to get involved personally? Then apply for project funds. The application form can be found here: Volunteering Program (DOC 134 KB).
